Well over 200 members of the press flocked through the doors of the Camden Centre in London last week (6th July) to attend the most successful Christmas in July event to date.
Now in its 5th year and the only toy specific press preview of the summer, Christmas in July continues to draw in journalists with the opportunity to view the top ‘must have’ toys of the year before they hit the shop shelves in time for Christmas.
Paul Miller, editor of It’s Fate Magazine comments: "Finley and I enjoyed it immensely – a fantastic display of toys coming up for Christmas."
The Bizziebaby.co.uk team also rated the event highly with Promotions Manager Becky Taylor commenting: "A great event, so good to see all the new items coming through for Christmas this year and great for our Bizziebaby team to keep updated with the new arrivals. Congratulations on a superb event."
Christmas in July, which is organised exclusively by Evolution PR, once again attracted many top toy brands this year including Character Options, Flair, Tomy, Casdon and many, many more. There were lots of new names on show this year too – attracted by the new central London location, plus the exclusive opportunity to network with the UK’s consumer media.
Claire Taylor, Project Manager for the event commented: "The Camden Centre proved a big hit with both exhibitors and visitors as it is so easy to access – directly opposite Kings Cross St Pancreas Station. The hall is spacious and stands were bigger this year than ever before. Of course, free refreshments and goody bags were hugely popular too!"
